Ann Smith is HIV Corporate Strategist at CAFOD and became an ICT Trustee because she knew that her experience at CAFOD could be helpful to a small INGO like ICT. CAFOD has very developed systems and Ann can advise the ICT Team on international development sector processes, in terms of what is considered 'good practice,' which can inform what is increasingly required by the Charity Commission and major donors such as Comic Relief, DFID and BIG. Ann has her PhD in virology and her background in public health can help inform ICT’s programmes work on HIV/AIDS. Ann serves as a member of ICT’s Programmes Development Committee, a sub-committee of the Board.
