Fran has worked in various capacities with local and international NGOs sector since 1991. She holds an M.Sc in Social Policy (Research) – Child Rights, Child Poverty and Development from the London School of Economics (UK), M.Sc in Poverty Reduction and Development Management from Birmingham University (UK) and BA (Hons) Sociology and Geography from Egerton University (Kenya).

Fran has been involved extensively in capacity building of grassroots NGOs, Women and Girls programmes, child rights programming and management of NGOs in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and some civil society organisations in Asia.
