Sadia was Director of the Consortium for Street Children (2001-2005), a leading international NGO, made up of 40+ UK member organisations, advocating for the rights of street-children and building the capacity of international, national and local NGOs. She has held senior positions with international governmental organisations, such as the United Nations agencies, and with other respected international NGOs in the field of child rights, poverty alleviation and social development. Sadia is ICT’s Child’s Rights Specialist and she holds an MSc in International Relations from Southampton University and is currently based in the UK. Sadia is now an independent consultant, travelling internationally to provide advice and consultancy on socially excluded children and youth. |
