Steve first began volunteering for ICT in 1986. Steve continued to support ICT informally, on a voluntarily basis, until 1996 when he joined his wife, as part of the ICT India Team. In 2004, Steve was promoted to the full-time position of Programmes Officer.

Steve brings with him 20 years of practical experience working at the grassroots level in India; monitoring and evaluation expertise; and a real desire to build the capacity of local people in Asia and Africa to take a more �rights based` approach, so that local organisations will gain as much support as possible from their governments and communities and become less dependent on external support.
