Becoming a Partner

Although ICT’s mandate is international, we are currently only accepting applications from Sierra Leone.

International Childcare Trust (ICT) encourages local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Africa and Asia, with similar missions to ours i.e. supporting children who have been displaced due to family breakdown, abuse, conflict, environmental disaster or disease and who often find themselves living and working on the streets, to apply for partnership.  ICT works in partnership with local implementing NGOs in planning, implementing and mobilising resources for appropriate projects.  A set of Programmes Partnership Principles guides our approach to partnership.

We aim to partner with small NGOs in the least developed countries that do not yet receive ongoing assistance from a major international donor and are struggling to build their own capacity as sustainable organisations.

In recognition of the inter-relationship between poverty and disability and the increased risks which face children with disabilities; it is essential that any new partner is committed to inclusion, in particular, including disabled children within their work.

Applications for partnership are made in two stages.  At Stage 1, ICT requests that applicants submit only a two-page project summary in the format provided.  If interested in the project, ICT will request a detailed Stage 2 application.  Guidelines for applying for partnership and the Stage 1 Application Form can be downloaded below:
