Case Study 1: Shaban Hamisi

Hamisi first came into contact with ICT when he was just 9 years old - by that time he was already on the street and was addicted to glue sniffing. After two serious incidents, one of which left him hospitalised, LVCP took him in, at first temporarily and then permanently. Case Study 2: Marianna Warimu

Marianna, 8, and her brother Stanley, 4 came to LVCP on the death of their adoptive mother from an AIDS related illness. Not having any blood relatives, they had been rejected by those around them due to the stigma surrounding AIDS. At LVCP, Marianna has blossomed after a difficult settling in period.
