For the second time, ICT is organising a Cycle Challenge in India! This latest Challenge is scheduled to take place from 14th to 23rd November, 2008.
As with our previous Challenges in India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Cambodia, participants will have the opportunity to visit an ICT project and see the positive outcomes of their fundraising efforts!
This stunning 397km cycle challenge takes place in Kerala one of the undiscovered jewels of India. The sun bleached seashore, incessant blue waves, green coconut groves and lagoons are all part of the essence of Kochi, our starting point for the challenge. As we move westwards on our bicycles we see more of the interior with its lush land of rivers flowing through hills and paddy fields and emptying themselves into the backwaters. And finally we arrive at the once far off dark blue mountains, with their hill stations and cooler temperatures. Only when you have been to Kerala can you understand why it is named "Gods Own Country".
Please check the scheduled Itinerary and visit the Cycle India website. More information will be posted here and on the Cycle India site when received.
