This was the second time that ICT undertook this coast
to coast adventure which traversed diagonally across the fascinating
island of Sri Lanka: from the hot and humid plains of Colombo, up
to the welcome coolness of the central highlands around Kandy to
the historic port of Trincomalee. This was a challenging trip and
not for the faint-hearted, but the stunning scenery, friendly people
and rare insight into rural Sri Lankan life did not disappoint.
