For the first time, ICT is organising a Cycle Challenge in Tanzania! This latest Challenge is scheduled to take place from 2nd to 11th October, 2009.
As with our previous Challenges in India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Cambodia, participants will have the opportunity to visit an ICT project and see the positive outcomes of their fundraising efforts!
This stunning 400km cycle challenge takes place in Tanzania. From the coast of the India Ocean, pedal through game reserves, passing Maasai tribes and camp under the starry African sky. From ‘Dar es Salaam, cycle towards Saadani National Park to the village of Ngerengere. Finally we arrive at the foot of the Ulguru Mountains outside Morogoro. This ride takes you off the beaten track and beyond the boundaries of a normal safari.
