In September 2003, 20 individuals cycled across Sri Lanka to raise funds for ICT. 

All the individuals who participated were astounded by how well organised the local team was and how smoothly everything ran for the first charity challenge in Sri Lanka! The participants all felt so lucky to be able to discover the North of the island, which until recently was closed to tourists because of the 20 year civil war. The party the participants had on Nilaveli Beach, to celebrate completing the almost 300 miles, was certainly one to remember!

Uniquely, during this trip, the team was able to visit some of the ICT`s projects in action, and meet with some of the children who will benefit from the funds raised.

ICT would like to thank Cycle Sri Lanka`s two key sponsors: Letterstone PLC and Phoenix PLC for making the event a great success! Lucozade and Nike also kept all the participants well hydrated and well dressed! For mobilising this sponsorship, ICT would like to acknowledge the efforts of certain individuals: Simon Hill, Peter Knight, Simon Percival, Hamid Raja, and Scott Haughton.

Due to the success of the 2001 Financial Sector Pub Quiz (see archives), ICT did it all over again in March 2003, again at Eaton's Bar, Broadgate Circle in the City! THANK YOU Mathew and everyone at Eaton`s! The quiz was a huge success and raised �2,737 for ICT!

These quizzes are popular in the financial sector as they are a great way to build team dynamics, compete and network with others in the sector and raise money for a great cause, all at once.
