| On top of the final peak, Great Dodd |
 |
A group of friends has raised £2000 for ICT by walking 24 peaks in the Lake District in 24 hours!
The challenge was spread over two days, with 14 hours, 27km, 2,500 metres worth of climbing on the first day and 10 hours, 25km, 1,700m on the second day. A remarkable achievement!
The challenge began with the ascension of Red Pike and finished on Great Dodd... with 22 other peaks in between... including England's highest peak, Scafell Pike! Not only that, but the challenge was completed ahead of target, in fact exactly 5 minutes under the scheduled 24 hours! In all, the friends managed to raise £500 more than their initial target of £1500 for ICT!
The participants in this fantastic challenge were: Tim Corner, Ben Stradwick, Katie Wookey, Neil Perry, Gavin Miles, Ian Thurman, James Malcolm, John Platt, Jonathon De Mello, Sarah Bell, Mel Corner.
