ICT works with local partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Cambodia, India and Sri Lanka. We need the help of companies to sustain existing projects and initiate new ones.
You can give corporate support by:
- Grants - We have many projects which are looking for sponsorship from companies like yours. From putting your name to one of our fundraising events through to sponsoring a child.
- Donations - Making regular donations or an annual lump sum. Charitable donations by businesses attract tax relief as detailed in the Inland Revenue leaflet IR64, which can be downloaded from http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/home.htm.
- Event Fundraising - Encouraging employees to become involved in organising charity events or sponsored activities e.g. by allowing the formation of a Charities Committee and providing facilities and allocated time.
- Matched giving - Supporting employees in their involvement e.g. matching the amount raised through sponsorship or fundraising event; providing premises, refreshments or equipment needed for the event or activity to take place.
- Set up a payroll giving scheme - Incorporating a Give As You Earn (G.A.Y.E.) scheme via payroll.
- "Charity of the Year” - Does your company have one? If so it would be fantastic if you could nominate the International Childcare Trust. This is a great way of giving something back, and having fun in the process. Do think of us next time.
- Team-building events – we can work with you to engage your employees in our charity events, treks, runs etc, or even work up a bespoke fundraising event for your organisation
