INTERNATIONAL CHILDCARE TRUST

Why compete for ICT?
International Childcare Trust helps children who face challenges everyday, children who are malnourished, orphaned due to HIV/AIDS, ex-child soldiers, forced into the commercial sex-trade or live on the streets - often with no one else to turn to…Through local, grassroots partners we give children shelter, healthcare, education, training & hope - as one child said to us "Thank you for giving me my childhood back."
How your fundraising could help
We currently are unable to help all the children who need our support, but here is what your sponsorship money could provide:
£5 will pay for tetanus vaccinations for 20 kids.
£40 will enable an orphaned child to buy a school uniform and shoes. These basics allow orphans the opportunity to enrol in primary school and restart their lives.
£50 will pay for the salary of an outreach teacher in the slum areas, providing informal education to young children, unable to access our bigger centres.
£105 would help to provide bursaries for three deprived young people looking for options for the future. They can benefit from skills training in cookery, sewing, mechanics, plumbing, English and computers.
£250 will pay for slides and safe play equipment for a community playground in the slum areas.
We expect that individual runners raise a minimum of £500 sponsorship and £1000 for teams of 3, (after you have paid the £50 deposit or set up a £10 standing order).

On Sunday 25th April ICT had ten runners taking part in the London Marathon and we would like to say a huge thank you to all of them. The sun was shining (sometimes) the crowd were cheering and all our runners managed to complete the course. This is what Jamie Foskett, one of our wonderful runners, had to say about his experience
"Thank you so much for all of your support during the training and fundraising. What an incredible experience that everyone much experience at least once in their life and such a worth while charity. As a father I implore all parents to help make a difference to the poor disadvantaged children around the world and knowing International Childcare Trust truly are making a difference to so many futures makes me feel very proud.”
