PROGRAMMES ASSISTANT
THE IGS GROUP (in collaboration with INTERNATIONAL CHILDCARE TRUST)

Since 2006, IGS Group Limited, an alternative investment consultancy, has been working with The International Childcare Trust (ICT), for the benefit of some of the world’s most vulnerable children in Africa and Asia. As IGS Group’s chosen charity, ICT will benefit from this IGS Group secondment, which is the most recent collaboration between the two organisations. This is a permanent position, but for at least the first year, this individual will be employed by IGS Group.

ICT requires a new Programmes Assistant to join ICT's Team in developing and implementing ICT's Strategy, particularly with regard to raising programme funds from and preparing reports for UK Trusts & Foundations and working with ICT's programmes representatives in Africa and Asia and promoting their work in ICT's promotional materials, including the newsletter and website. The Programmes Assistant will have at least some experience of living and working abroad in international development, in either a voluntary or paid position.

INTERNATIONAL CHILDCARE TRUST

International Childcare Trust (ICT) seeks a new Trustee to join its Board with a background in international development with expertise in Sub-Saharan Africa. As we have been working in Kenya since the early 1990s; are now supporting a programme of work in Tanzania; and are considering a programme that rehabilitates child soldiers in Uganda, someone with expertise in East Africa would be particularly desirable.
