Although ICT’s mandate is international, we are currently only accepting applications from Tanzania and North India.
ICT encourages local NGOs to apply for partnership. Although international NGOs are welcome to call Margaret O'Grady at ICT and talk to her about their local partners' work in the initial stages, all applications for partnership (not funding) and subsequent correspondence should come from local NGOs. Local NGOs should mention any relationships they have built with international partners and other organisations in their initial 2 page summaries.
ICT works in partnership with implementing local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in planning, implementing and mobilising resources for appropriate projects. ICT would like to identify new partners with similar missions to ours. ICT concentrates its efforts on working with children who have been displaced due to familial or national conflict or disease and can often be found on the streets. We also work with extremely poor families in remote areas that would be vulnerable to urban migration. We aim to reach small NGOs that do not yet receive ongoing assistance from a major international donor and are struggling to build their own capacity as sustainable organisations.
Applications for partnership are made in two stages. In the first stage, ICT requests that applicants submit only a two-page project summary in the format provided. If interested in the project, ICT will ask a potential partner to submit a complete application form. Guidelines for applying for partnership and the project summary format can be downloaded below:
