NEWS & EVENTS | Trek Mount Kenya

After the success of our first trek in Nepal in 2010, which raised over £65,000, International Childcare Trust is pleased to announce its second exciting new walking adventure – Trek Mount Kenya in March 2011.

A unique challenge of a lifetime up Africa’s 2nd highest peak – Mount Kenya, an extinct volcano with incredible scenery and wildlife; elephants, rhinos and leopards roam the surrounding area. You will see rainforests, moorland, plantations, great valleys, glacier fields and beautiful African skies.

This journey ends with a project visit - International Childcare Trust is one of the very few charities which enable you to visit one of our projects and meet the children we help – so you can see exactly how your hard-earned sponsor money helps gives vulnerable children security and hope for the future.

Our challenge is to help the children that other charities just don’t reach, children whose lives are a challenge everyday & you can help by joining us!

The minimum sponsorship includes; all flights and internal transfers, English speaking guides & doctor, all accommodation, meals and National Park fees.
